The Faculty of Medicine at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem is inviting applications from leading candidates for tenure track positions to the 2026-2027 academic year, at the Institute for Medical Research Israel-Canada (IMRIC). The call is for a position starting from Senior Lecturer (equivalent to Assistant Professor).

This call is open year-round: no date or deadline limitation.

The research fields of interest include

Research fields for the Institute of Medical Research (IMRIC) incorporate all Biomedical disciplines, including but not limited to: Cancer, Aging, Developmental Biology, Systems and Computational Biology, Neurobiology, Cellular and Molecular Biology, Biochemistry and Metabolism, Physiology, Immunology and Microbiology (including Bacteriology, Virology and Parasitology).

Applicants should hold a PhD, MD, DMD or DVM degree, after a successful post-doctoral fellowship. The faculty will consider applicants that have demonstrated excellence and creativity during their doctoral and postdoctoral training. Applicants are expected to carry out independent competitive research programs and participate in undergraduate and graduate teaching.
